Privacy Day To Day

A 'we can see you' poster on a street corner.Digital surveillance goes far beyond the internet. Every day you walk through streets under watch. Everywhere you go there is a CCTV camera following you. Every time you use an ATM your bank knows where you are. Every time you use a credit or laser card the shop knows your name, bank details and address.

You might think this surveillance is for the most part harmless. After all, you trust your bank with your money and the shop to provide quality goods. But all it takes is for your bank to send out wrong details to the wrong people or one shop assistant deciding to rip you off.

There are laws to shield you, however it is difficult to know when these laws are broken and there is almost no way to completely protect yourself.
